If any single photograph sums up who I am and what I do, it is this one.
It's a screen-grab of me checking the camera set-up for a thing I directed of Ridley Scott talking.
Anyway, it works as a visual representation of what I do because in the foreground you have a significant filmy person and in the background you have me clearly thinking too much about it all.
I make films about films. And I write books about films.
